Soldier Side gives me goosebumps every time I give it a listen, especially the chorus, “They were crying when their sons left, God is wearing black, he’s gone so far to find the truth he’s never coming back.” And while it’s not exactly underrated, I feel like it should get more respect/attention. This album has a lot of star power though Lonely Day, Soldier Side, and the title track are all fantastic songs. In my opinion, Kill Rock n Roll and U-Fig could have not been on the album, and while some of the other songs are far from bad (Dreaming, Stealing Society, Tentative, Attack), they do feel a bit underwhelming. The second half of the hypnotize/mezmerize double album suffers from a similar issue STA did too many forgettable tracks. I'd listen to these songs any day, but in the context of their other albums, there's no doubt in my mind that STA is the runt of the litter.) But there's too many subpar tracks here, like Fuck the System, 36, Boom!, A.D.D, etc. Jack, the epic chorus of I-E-A-I-A-I-O, the beauty of Roulette. Jack, Roulette and Innervision are even highlights for me. Again, these songs are still fine, even good songs like I-E-A-I-A-I-O, Mr. And while I commend soad for having a sense of humor about it with the title, they really couldn't bounce back songwise. And you get this feel listening to it for a reason most of these songs were leaked onto the web prior to being officially released under the name "toxicity 2", hence the name "Steal this album!". This thing really feels like a random collection of songs more than a cohesive piece.

Also, keep in mind I love all soad albums, this list is just for fun. Keep in mind this is just my opinion, and please feel free to respectfully post yours. In this list I will be ranking every officially released soad album (so no storaged melodies) from worst to best.
